ok leak test i have done but plug chop i havent

main jet is a 240 and pilot looks like 32.5

i figured it was the jetting because the guy said he changed the exhaust from an aftermarket one to a stock one but he never mentioned changing jets or anything but i dont know for sure

i recently bought another blaster it a 97 runs and cranks great but the guy i got it from had a FMF gold series header and a stock silencer. like i say it runs good it not the fastest but runs good until 4th and 5th gear then it completely looses power you can only run about half throttle or she...

the base and head gaskets are both brand new i just rebuilt it today i just cant figure out what else could cause it it did it when i got it i have tried just about everything

my stock blaster is idling high when im in neutral or when i pull the clutch in i have checked both boots on the carb both are tight the reed valve is tightned down good what else do yall suggest checking next?

o ok well this time im gonna stick to rebuilding it my self then sale it and get something different but thanks for all the help

these were backed off almost completely but thanks for the tip anyway not used to the 2 stroke yet used to rebuilding 4 strokes but it shouldnt have ran lean cause mine dosent have the oil tank i premix but i was running 30:1 with lucas

found out what was wrong..... i let my cousins brother in law which works with yamaha and does alot of work around on racing fourwheelers thought he knew what he was doing i was wrong he didnt tighten up the head so every time the piston was on the down stroke it sucked in dirt and air and...

well its al stock so i assume jetting is right and i broke it in like the forum and the yamaha shop said too and as far as an air leak it was getrting to much air at the reeds due to a hole in the boot to the carb but that had been fixed before it was rode

it hasnt long been rebuilt it may have 6 hrs on it since rebuild what would have caused it?

wow..... i am hitting around 24!! see what happened was about a week ago i was riding alone about 40 maybe 45 mph and it just shut off and wouldnt crank back up so i checked the spark and everything was ok so i then pulled it off and crank and ran just no idle what could be wrong? maybe...

i have a 2003 stock blaster what is the compression supposed to be on it?

i dont a key switch some one bypassed it before i bought it. but i tried pulling it off and it would crank then and run and rev up and such but then would shut off i tried then to kick crank it and again nothing so i pulled it off again and same results
