yfz 450 shock

the 400ex, 450r and yfz 450 shock all require some modification to install. The 400ex and yfz450 seem to require about the same amount, since the mounts on both need to be modified to fit the blaster correctly. There used to be a DIY on the 400ex shock mod but i can't find it now. There is still a good amount of info on mounting each shock, you just have to search a little.

I just picked up a yfz450 rear shock off ebay and am planning on getting it installed this weekend. I was wondering how to modify the top so that the bolt doesn't have any play in the mount since the bolt for the new shock has a smaller diameter than the stock blaster bolt. Thanks in advance.

I just got my 400ex rear off ebay for 12.50 + 14.00 shipping. You gotta watch the bidding ones, thats when you can score big!!! Cant wait to see what it rides like.

i believe you guys mean the 250r shock, not 450r ?
