how much work is it to get a yfz rear shock installed?

400ex wont work for me as it will hit the factory 7 airfilter box, and the trx250 shocks are pretty crappy on ebay at this time.

i heard that the yfz shock is realy stiff unless you got an extended swingarm but dont quote me on that it probley wouldnt be to hard to make up something so you could run a 400ex or 450r rear shock

yfz rear shock = too long, too stiff

and what are you talking about........
"400ex rezzie interferes with my cfm box" ???????
you cant be talkin about a blaster !
i went to the cfm box because of all the room it left me in that area for my 450r rezzie, so much room in fact, i relocated my banshee rear brake rezzie in there too...................

1bad442 said that they will hit, he has the same air box, and factory 7 boxes dont do a s like the CFM ones, they are a V. im beting that they barelly hit.

I could get away with a 450r Probally but IDK.

450/400 same shock, same rezzie size, just the 450's is offset to one side
my bad, i thought the f7 and cfm boxes are the same, going to f7.com to see,
you have any pics ????

im beting they hit in the middle section, but IDK. thats the only part that seems like it would be close though.

i see what you mean, the intake pipe comes out differently on the f7 box, but looks like it might clear a 450r shock with the offset rezzie as in my pic above ???
