couldnt figure out why my sons lakota was throwin the chain now and then, i had it tightened to specs, but following him on a ride yesterday i noticed that it was really compressing when he hit some hard stuff, so figured id try and set the preload on the spring today, well aint this some hillbilly, redneck, afro engineering, bullshit i found, see pics......
seems someone used a car shock, and welded a plate to hold the top of the spring and 2 muffler clamps for the bottom, what kinda moonshine or drugs did it take to think this up???? the lakota's not like the blaster, where everything is in plain site, this was hidden pretty good, i never saw it 2 months ago when we bought it, so im gonna put my old blaster shock on it, started tonite, but gonna take somemore of my fabbin, but looks like it'll work, might sit an inch lower but that'll be better for a newbie
