there is a T and a F and we took it apart and now the timing wont line up with the timing sprocket. we took it back a tooth then it is a little behind and vise versa. What do you think is wrong?!?

I'm no expert on yamaha warriors but USUALLY the upper cam gear timing mark needs to line up on the "T" mark. The "F" mark is the ignition timing mark and should be lined up last.

just so you know there are 2 T's on the flywheel. you need to find the T when it's at TDC. the other T is BDC.

it will once the cam chain tensioner is installed. if not its off by 1 tooth.
sometimes they are not 100% perfect, so set it where it is closest after the tensioner is installed and engine turned over by hand a coupe thines in the proper direction.
