My son has a Yamaha Breeze 125. We thought he left his key on and killed the battery once again. After charging it all night and trying to start it ...NOTHING....I took my daughters grizzly 125 battery out and put it in the breeze and still NOTHING.......Any ideas ? The lights wont even come on. Could there be an inline fuse somewhere ? Thanks in advance for any helpful info, Big Phil

um, make sure your terminals are clean and that the black wire is grounded to the frame! My moto 4 200 came undone and i thought it was the battery too. plus, make sure the red terminal is on there.

the voltage regulator would not do this as it just controls voltage from the stator to the battery, not the battery to the CDI.
i would suggest checking your starter.

Yeah but if it were the starter wouldnt the headlight and the neutral light come one ? Nothing is coming on at all like there wasnt even a battery.

Shame there isn't a wiring diagram available. I could prob pinpoint it fairly close if you had one. Most quads that have a starting system have a large cable going to to starter from the positive terminal and a smaller separate cable going to the electrical system. You will need to use a test light and follow this wire until you find where you lose voltage. Put the clip of the light on any ground and just start at the battery, you can poke the wire with the pointy probe throught the insulation occasionally. I would suspect you to find the prob near the battery or near the keyswitch. Some vehicles have a fusible link that just looks like a piece of wire. On one side of it, it will be hot. On the other, nothing.

i am not 100% sure how the lights work on the breeze, but it seems like it would have lights still. it has to be something with the wiring harness and the battery connections then.
