i need help when i ride in 3 or 4 gear 5,6 when i hammer the gas it wont go no where but when i easy up on it in will work whats going on does ithave somthing to do with the tors wat let me no

no its not tors, its clutch or trans related, check your clutch pressure plates and make sure theyre ok replace if needed and if it still does it then its trans but im pretty sure its clutch related

questions:
are you going slow then trying to get on it? if so, down shift
does the engine rev out and the quad not take off? if so, clutch is slipping, replace or adjust it

literally just had this issue prolly time for a new clutch and or adjustment. i would try an adjustment b4 buyin a 100dollar clutch but thats just me.

sometimes you can get away with buying a set of badass springs + an adjustment, might be worth a try. if you need help with the clutch hit me up anytime.

buy a tusk clutch with HD springs. it is around 60ish and they work great.

look ill be driving and then ill floor it when im in 4 and it would feel like its in 3rd but it does shift

me 2 could it be the clutch cable the guy tied the end up the the engine clutch spring lever on the engine

lol i just ordered a tusk clutch kit with HD springs.thats why i made the thread on which oil to use dont wanna use the wrong stuff and cost me more$$$ for nuttn

hey the guy with the banshee thanx i see u all over thanks every one but i still need to know about this clutch cable and how do u kno if u need a nes clutch plates how do u teelll by lookin at them thanks all

what 10w40 oil are you using?
also with clutch plates, make sure the steel plates are not burnt or warped. for the fibers make sure they still have "meat" on them.

but if any questions, take good pictures of them and someone can tell you.


as for the adjustment, make sure your clutch lever has some play in it, meaning the lever will move a little before it starts to engage the clutch.
