After my last thread it ran for days and it ran like it was brand new. Since when does topping it out make it bog? Thought it was supposed to move? Also, this thing overheats quick.

After one hour my oil was boiling out of the edges of the oil plug on the kicker side of the engine.

I know I am wasting my breath, but what the hell.

A lean mixture caused by an air leak may make the engine pull like it is being chased by a bull, but it will create excessive heat, cause overheating and possibly destroy what is left of your piston, and with a bit of luck will shatter and take the bottom end out as well and put pay to all your problems!

For the love of Mike, do yourself and everyone else on BF a favour and listen to advice and take action on it.

Well trust me if I could take action on it. I'd skip school every day to spend time with it. But, fortunately, I can't do that.

The dude I bought it off of claims a complete engine rebuild. If so, great rebuild dummy. Forgot 1 out of 3 of the bottom engine bolts.

Preventative maintenance is NOT wasting money, its saving your butt before things JUST LIKE THIS happen. Blaaster just said it

air leak = lean condition = excessive heat = broken mototr = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

So before you get to the $$$$$$$$$$$, start at the beginning.

build leak tester/buy from AWK for $30 = $$ <--- is way less dollar signs then above!!!!

Well I don't use my work time on here unless I need an answer. Other wise I'm fiddling with that 4 wheeler.

Apart from a failed compression test the only fiddling I observe is you putting your thumb on and off the throttle trying to start it so that you can ride!

What are you spying on me? You've observed nothing but the words I've put on this forum buddy. You must think I'm dumb lmao. Cause sitting on a quad and pushing the throttle in out turns the engine over. Wow. Little over exaggerated much? I've done more than I thought I could even do. So I know I've done more than you thought I could accomplish.

I would expect your threads to not attract much attention with the attitude you have. Take all of the advice you were given here...Use it...and report back with your findings. ACTUALLY DO WHAT PEOPLE ARE SUGGESTIMG instead of dismissing it and running it faulty...

I can tell you, a rebuild thread is in your future...even if it's only you replying..

If your read my description thoroughly it has compression. The compression tester I used then, wouldn't read anything. So I got my good old hand and a kick start that not very easy to push down with my hand. So there's compression.

You started this whole post because the engine is having trouble turning over, unless I'm reading it wrong!
From my experience you should be able to push the kick starter over without too much force.

My opinion STOP! Pull the head take a picture, upload it, pull the jug, take a picture upload it. More than likely you melted a piston.

Well I've had problems with it starting before and if you pull start it, it used to fire up and after wards you can kick it once and it'll turn over every time. But, this times I was just hammering it and all the sudden it shut right off and bogged out. So I proceeded with the steps I did before. Pull start it. Used a Ford diesel 7.3 to pull start it. Fired up switched through 1-3 gear then proceeded to slow down. So I pulled in the clutch and all the sudden it just Bogs out and dies every time I engage the clutch lever. It will not even sound like it's trying to turn over when kicked. I have compression.
Let's us start at the beginning and get this problem sorted out.

Check reeds to see if they are intact, and not chipped and are sealing properly.

Do a proper compression test to see if the compression is over 100 psi.

If it passes the test, then do a leak test to see if the engine is air tight.

Then return and tell us your findings and we can go from there.

It is pointless folks continuing offering advice, when all that is being achieved is frustration of everybody.

Folks are bashing their brains trying to help but it seems that the advice is falling on deaf ears. I feel that Eventually they are going to give up on you if you continue to ignore their recommendation.

Compression and leak test then get back to us!

If your posting to this forum while your in school your an idiot, you should be taking your education for all its worth, trust me later in life youll be regreting the missed opportunities of a solid education

No leak tester is $50 and its a nessessary tool for the sport. Also if it just had new top end or new gasket y u riding it 7 hrs straight? Go read up on heat cycles...

I have a pink bicycle i will trade u for ur blaster

I promise ill take care of it better than u
