just got a 1996 xr400 and love it, its almost perfect, lots of power pretty good speed, very reliable, but im looking for parts and pieces, hopefully cheaper then ebay please???, i want to make it street legal so i need mirrors,blinkers, the whole set up, i also need a kicker, the old one broke at the clamp, and possibly a new rear rim, this one is warped and has like 7 broken spokes due to previous owner not tightening spokes.


^^ thats what i need, and now for my wants : hand guards, new or lightly used street or off road tire (110/100-18 rear), bolt on kick stand ( previous owner cut the whole thing off)
or anything you have for this bike and you dont want/use anymore

Very nice bike you have there. I have a 2001 XR400 set up for the street. Contact Baja Designs for the lights you’re going to need. Contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles for what they’ll be looking for at inspection. Do you have a Certificate of Origin or a title? It can be tricky getting a dirt bike registered.
