i have a 2003 blaster all stock except full exhaust. my brother rode my atv one day and ran it out of gas and since then it never ran right. i tried to ride it about a week after it was run out of gas and i filled it up and the gas all flowed out of the three overflow tubes. i rode it around for a minute and it stopped draining but it never really hit the 2stroke powerband after that. while riding it down the road it doed completly. after that i took the carb off and cleaned it really well and now it wont even start(not even pull start). this is the second blaster iv had that did this but i could never figure out what the problem was so i sold my first one. any ideas help thanks!!!

unlikely but you may have burnt a hole in the piston or fried a ring, because sometimes running out of gas can cause it to lean out
well you may have blew a ring try checking your compression and i didnt know that blaster had a pull start
if you kick it a couple times is you plug wet or dry?. sounds like its not getting gas. how is your compression?.
i took the plug out and its fried! put a newer one in and still nothing.and i think the plug is dry. and blasters do not have a pull start but has no one ever tried to use another atv to pullstart another or is it just me? compression check is happening tomorrow. if i have bad compression whats my problem? rings or piston?
do a comp test and if its any thing below 100psi i would consider doing a rebuild fresh piston and rings/gaskets.. but if its low i wouldnt go ahead and order any thing till you have a look at the cylinder to make sure its clean no scratches.. its not getting gas if the plug is dry, i would pop the carb back off and mess with the float. maybe you could try putting some gas down the spark plug hole and see if you get any thing out of it ..
just pull the carb off to the right side of the bike and u have enugh area to work on it good even with the hose on it
ok looked at it again and the plug has what seems to be a lot of oil on the plug. i took the carb off and took it apart, sprayed it all down with carb cleaner and still nothing. its petting tons of spark but im guessing no fuel because if u let it sit for a while and kick it over it will want to start for one kick but then nothing after that. im guessing somthing is clogged and its taking a while to get gas to the engine. any ideas besides a carb rebuild kit?
