ok at first i thought was a carb problem but i built it and still wont idle. then i put a spark tester on it and i have no spark unless i hit the throttle...there is a plug comming off my throttle if i un plug it the motor will rev up on it on. i dont understand what the plug in is so im having problems diaging the problem..i know its an electrical problem as soon as i let off the throttle it stops firing

i was going to say if you have a tumb throttle there is a switch in it which you can see if you dismantle it, when its pressed in you dont get a spark when its pressed out you get a spark its a safety system which is rather annoying
find out if the switch when open (when throttle is on) lets electricity pass or stops it , if it swaps it simply disconnect it, if it lets it pass disconnect the switch and connect the wires up
or if you go to your tors system and you see the wires going into the top or near the top disconnect them, i think theres a little connector thing that works to i think not 100% sure on that one tho
the 03+ models have the tors brain built into the ignition " brain " , older units were seperate , there is a complete thread on bypassing the system , use the search function , It is detailed with pictures as well.

88-02, just unplug it and carb switch
03-06, jumper it and/or the carb switch
