Wont idle?

Head-bored .010 over
rings-New
reeds-new

Problem- wont idle/sparratic idle cuts off.

After the head was bored over the quad never idled right and is VERY
hard to start, I tried tuning it but it does not seem to get me anywhere?

did you play around on the air fuel screw on the carb.
also just to make sure when you bored it over and got new rings did you get a new piston to go with it.

No new piston!

No mods besides the bore

Stock jets, ill make sure though because
they are new

so when you bored it over you didnt replace the piston to match it. thats your problem get a new piston

yeah if you bored up 10 from what it was at you need to get a .010 piston kit

bored the head? did you bore the cylinder or mill the head? if you bored the cylinder you gotta get .10 over piston and rings man. it would be hard to start because you have no compression and it probably looks pretty ugly in there now, you might have to go .30 over now.

My mistake There IS A NEW PISTON IN IT!!

it was done by a family member while i was away i

checked with him and he did put a new piston in!

Ok new problem i fixed the idle, now IT WONT START it was running great then it just stalled and wouldn't start, air needle is about 1/8 past stock setting

it has a great spark and the plug is wet with gas i tried a new plug and made sure it wasnt flooded NOTHING!
