Wiring Help

Does anyone know of a good book/site where i can learn about what is needed for CDI system, which uses a starter, as i need to rewire my quad to start it but the wiring is a mess and i need to start over, but need to know what is required eg. stator, cdi unit etc for spark

Can anyone help?

The manual has a wiring diagram. Think of it as a map and each wire is a road, where do you need to go???

sorry forgot to mention its not a blaster...or a yamaha or any named brand for that matter, hence why i need to learn about it as no diagrams exist as its a no name, so i figure that if i understand it inside out, all i need to do is trace it and find problems if any/ how to set it up

maybey just find a quad that the china bike is a copy of. most of them are usually a copy of a popular quad. then research it's wiring. don't know if this will help. just a thought

if the harness is still in one peice, mount it see, what reaches where and match colors and stripes.
