Are all years wire harness the same? Or did they use different plug ends like the Banshee had 2 different plug ends. If so, how many different plug ends were there? Also, who has a wire harness for sale? Needs to have no cut wires and no modification. Thanks guys!!

as far as i know, 88-00 blasters had a 2 wire stator. 01-06 had a 3 wire stator to accomodate the brake light. i am not sure on other harnesses

^^You are close. 1988-2002 Blasters all used the same wiring harness, and they will interchange between these years no problem. 2003-2006 Blasters had a different design for the harness, mainly because of the brake light wiring and a unitized TORS unit/CDI box. (The earlier model Blasters used a separate TORS box and CDI box.)

If you have a Blaster built from 1988-2002, get a harness for models built during that time. If your's is an 03 +, you'll need an 03 + wiring harness to replace yours. 2003 + wiring harnesses will NOT work on 88-02 Blasters, and vice versa. Also, 2003 + Blasters have 5-wire stator plates, as opposed to the 4-wire units used on pre-2003 Blastys.

there IS a difference in the older wiring harnesses! '88-'90 were the same, and '91-'02 were the same. its not a major difference, but the 91-02 years have a parking brake switch, where the earlier years did not. you could still use the 91-02 wiring on an earlier model and vice vera, just be aware of why you might have a couple more/less wires. and as said above, the 03+ are different.

what year do you need? i have a harness i could sell you but the TORS wires were cut
