ok so we just got snowed on here and i thought it would be fun to go ride around in it. one problem the blaster wouldnt start. so how do you guys get them to start in the cold, o and the clutch cable is froze too. any input would help i wanna ride.

to fix the frozen clutch just use a blow dryer........ and is the choke all the way out? or just blow dry the head.... it works for me.. shouldn't be all that hard.. mine usually fires right up

try harder!! lol but really, if ya can push it someplace to thaw a bit that would be awesome but if not just keep trying little billy she'll start. lol I:I

whats the temp outside where you are...

from 0*F -20*F can be hard, definitely have full choke...even prime it; like kick it over with the kill off.

above 20*F shouldnt take long to fire up....still use half/full choke.

...I have to say about my blaster, it sits outside, between -10*C to -20*C....and lately it can start right up on the first kick!! no choke no nothing, its strange.

i hit the carb with a heat gun and it fired right up. thanks for all the good ideas, but the overall result......bad. long story short got it started, was drifting around the road and hit a sewer lid and blew out a tire.
