Will this hurt or affect anything?

hi, I recently lost my only key to my blaster. I took the front nose plastic off and found the two wires that hook into the ignition (where the key goes in), and I was able to easily unplug one because there was this connector before the wires reached the ignition. I only disconnected one of two of the wires, and she started right up.

soo my question is, since I only unplugged one, will this hurt or affect anything?

it runs right? only electric on the quad is the CDI, which controls the ignition. so i think you are good.

the guy who had mine b4 me had it disconnected like that and i hooked it back up and it still works fine so no ur good

on my banshee, i lost the key so it is rigged up a similar way, been like that for a long time.

Seal it up and call it good...

you can do way with the keyswitch completely if you wanted to. tbh not really much reason to have it, lol as long as your killswitch works, or you have a tether or somthing. I have a tendency to leave mine on and pull the key out and just use the killswitch.
