will not start

i bought a blaster that has been sitting for a while.
i put a new top end on it but all the wires were off and i broke the ignition switch so i am trying to find out what goes where.
i have pluged them up by color and still cant get no fire to the plug how could i test the cdi and the stator.
the atv was running befoe it was parked so maybee it is in my wireing does anyone know how the wires go
or maybee where the grounds are located becouse the only place i found a ground was at the metal box up front thanks for any help

if you unplug I believe it is either the black with white stripe wire, or the all black wire you should be able to get spark but you lose all elctical that way but its will test if your stator is good at least that how i got mine running and mine sat for 4 years before running

wich one at the stator or at the switch or the cdi

there is also a ground that grounds where your coil is

thanks for the help i unpluged the box,throtle plug,and at the carb and it fired right up
so i just need to finish puting it together break it in and go ride thanks again for the help
