well tried to get my blaster to start at least today. i cleaned the carb about 4 times now. still nothing. when i tried after the second time i cleaned it, it fired and ran for about a min. then stall. could not get it restarted after that. the floats are fine and the valves are good. the only thing i saw on the carb different was the little inlet for the hoses to go on from the oil injector had no cap. (must have come off). i run a vito's block off kit so i did not need it and plugged it up with the cover they gave me. is this a problem. plus i dont know why it will not fire up? please help! thank you:-/

well you definately need to plug that.. its a massive airleak. is the plug soaking wet? dryish? have you put a new plug in?

the inlet on the carb its what im talking about and yes i have put in new plugs they come out not very wet but damp

you didnt run it like that before you noticed it was gone did you? did you remove all the jets and completely strip the carb or just spray some stuff in there and call it good?

i did not run it like that no. and i took out the main jet and needle. and the inlet valve. then sprayed carb cleaner in and blew air through it

get a small flathead screwdriver and get the pilot jet out, i bet its all crudded up.. its so small it dosent take much

and how do you know you didn't run it with the oil injection plug missing ????
i think compression and leakdown tests are also needed

well if i did it was 2 mins or less i went to my grandpas house(like 50 yards from my house) and i saw that it was on there and when i fired it up to go home it stalled because i was out of gas.i pushed it home. the next day i was checking my tranny oil and i looked at the carb and saw it was not there

hmmm, well its worth it to comp test it if you have a tester or pull the pipe and take a peek thru the exhaust port.

Might be worth checking your reeds. My friends would fire for a sec right after a clean plug then stall. Turns out he only had 3 reeds :/
