What year is your Blaster. I have an 88 and I had to buy footpegs off of a 1990 Blaster to put the heal guards on mine. In 1988-89 the footpegs were shorter and had 3 holes in the center. Then in 1990 they made the footpegs longer and have a hole at each end to bolt the heal guards up to. The heal guards also bolt up to the frame but again in 88-89 they didnt have the blocks on the frame to bolt the healguards to. So for now I have 2 heavy duty zip-ties holding the top of the heal guards to the frame but it works good. Hope this helps you out.
My #2 blaster has heel guards and I find that i tend to stand more often than not when i am riding that one. My #1 just has foot pegs and i never stand on it.
I wish someone made a clamp on bracket to make it so we can put them on if we don't have the upper bolt hole.
