They make alot of good games for the Wii, just like the rest of the systems. Its just not in HD.

My brother's wii and fun, it gets old though.... I think its more orientated towards younger people(like 12 and under) I never play ours anymmore because of that reason..... I still like it though and yes there are some good games out there
well that what the wife wants to get so i am game for whatever she wants to do.....plus she has played a we so i know she will play too 
Call of duty 5, cabalas trophy buck's, and Cabelas dangerous hunts or whatever its called..... those are my favorite games..... And i play a mean game of golf on wii sports!!!!! lol
The best part about the Wii is you get too get up and move with most of the games. I just got Wii Sports Resorts. I got hooked on the sword fighting. Its bad ass. You can use the Game Cube remotes with it also. My kids love it...

Nobody mentioned MarioKart yet?!?! It's a must have game for the Wii. I have probably a dozen games for the Wii and I only play MarioKart. Oh, I also like the fact that I can go into the Nintendo channel and buy my old favorites. I have all the classic mario games etc.
For any other racing I would say get a PS3 or 360. I have Dirt 2 for my PS3 and I love it although not an ATV game.

all you need too do is hook it up to a router. I have a wireless but you can run a line to the wii if you dont have a wireless router.
can i get a splitter so i can have the wii and the modem plugged in at the same time or do i need a router
LOL you mean sword play?!?! hahaha that is fun.... I like the airsports games too

You have to set it up to. It should go....

After that, you need to connect to the router either wirelessly or wired and set up the wireless and security. That will make your internet wireless. Then you have to go into the Wii settings and connect to your wireless network using the security you set up. All in all very easy and all routers come with instructions.
If you get a wireless you just to go into the Wii menu and set it up through there. The Wii has a wireless system built into it.
As for the router you have to plug your internet connectoin to the router then a wire from the router to your computer modem.
The router should come with all you need to hook it up with direction. It isnt hard. Dam I did it and I am not to computer savy LOL
