Get your head milled, and get a bigger carb. The milled head would give you a good bottom/mid boost, and the carb would give you more top end. I would be a very noticeable difference for probly $140 total. I would recommend 28-33mm max on the carb.

^^^^Yeah you aren't even ported are you? If your bike is ported the carb will be an even greater increase by far!! How much did you pay for your carb?
I got one for sale with the pod filter included for cheep in the for sale sectionI:I

ok i will send it out to flotek sometime soon and tell them to port and polish it and have the head milled but no to much cause i still want to run 93 octane and what size carb should i go with 30mm sound good

for trails and play rading the smallest id get is probably a 30mm as you go up youll lose some moderate torque down low in the rpms and response and get it gained back around midrange ....35mm is probably the biggest size id go unless yo ustart with some more exotic mods and a drag pipe and port ,get a keihin .,,dont get a mikuni piece of crap ,milling the head adds torque the weisco will last longer and rev slighlty faster and higher over stock due to less mass to push

so what would u suggest flotek because im going to have all my work done by you guys agressive trail port and polish and get head milled as much as i can so that i can still run 93 octane and what other mods should i get to go with that.

whats so bad about mikuni? i rly dont care, my 240 kit piston and 36mm mikuni flat slide carb come monday and its guna be bomb. only thing is i gota get it bored to the new piston size. does anyone have a rough time frame on boring if the companys not busy? like i know it will vary, im talkin ruff ruff.

bark

where are you guys ordering your carbs from?
and what size jets are you using? i assume the stock throttle cable is trash on an a-m carb.....does the 30mm fit on the stock intake boot?
my bike's apart in pieces right now so when i put her back together maybe i'll try porting out the carb's venturi to see if i can get some more juice out of her.

RDZ Racing does carb boring, also MM atv has good prices on carbs. I have a 35mm with K&N for $150 shipped...

thats cause a 450r flywheel is already pretty light from the factory and the lets face it the honda 450 is a dog to begin with ,on a single 195cc blaster reducing rotational mass is a good thing

his flywheel is stock its a pain in the ass when theres windey sections it stalls all the time and its not the driver hes been riding since like 10 and hes 25 he helps me do everything with my blaster cause he had one done from top to bottom port and polish big bore and all that sh*t he said it didnt help..

maybe hes just naturally sh*ty? some people never get better.

but seriously your insaulting flotek with porting does nothing.(not nessasarly cuz it wasnt him but...)

acualy hes probably not insaulted because obviously your brother knows nothing by saying a port and polish on a blaster does nothing. why doesnt he just say a 240 big bore kit wouldnt do anything either?

nah hes actually a badass rider he does xc and on a snowmobile theres noway to touch him even if hes on my f5 against 800s hes gone same situation on a quad.. im not trying to insult mayby the guy that ported it did a bad port job? ppl by me are reatarted rednecks haha sorry floteck

When I got my Blaster ported by RB Racing (no, not trying to sell his product), my Banshee was a beast!! I raced against my buddy's Blaster which had also got a recent port job from another builder, and I blew him out of the water so bad he turned around and sent his Banshee cyl's to RB. If I had 20 hp before with just my Pro Circiut pipe, I know I had 30 after the port job. It just pulled forever on top. I actually sold it to a 300 plus pound guy that said the only bike that thrilled him like that was his old 250R. Get a good builder like RB Racing and you won't regret it.
