why faster no reserve

Maybe something is clogged on the main tank

More fuel is being pused through since the res tank is lower..

that or he is on smack!! screen for main fuel could be partly clooged..

There is a low spot in the tank it's like .8 gallon reserve so if the rest of the tank runs dry you switch it to reserve so you can make it home or back to your gas can it has a seperate pick up in the tank so it isn't drawn from until you turn it to reserve

But one thing I would do is Drain the tank completely and make sure it dosent have any dirt or grime in it... I think there are cleaners you can purchase for the inside of the tank but not sure what and when you refill it Take the hose off the Carb that comes from the petcock and check it using you gas can. See how the fuel flows with it On then Check on Res.. Also make sure your using good gas 93 32-1 if u premix. PS Where in ohio are ya

or maybe its just because when the tank is empty there is less wieght on the bike.
how much faster is it when on reserve?
if its faster on reserve im gonna run mine on reserve only for a few extra ponies!

I know it was said already, but pull the fuel valve out and check th intake screen. Mine ran like crap one day and I went through it and found parts of two honey bee's in the valves and tank. I filtered everything on the way out and also found sand in the tank. Keep it clean guy's and she will never let you down.
