White Smoke

Ok i just finished a top end rebuild and i have white smoke comin out of the exhaust know i read the engine forum that white smoke could be a bad crank seal know runnin race gas thats premix40-1 is that why im runnin whute smoke Know before this fresh topend I did a full rebuild by puttin in a 3mm with all new bearings in the bottom end and i cant remember if there was white smoke but i dont think there was i have done a leakdown test and it dropped frm 7psi to 5psi in 9 min is that good? or im i just gettin to worried

id say you have a decent leak somewhere, and you need to find out where it is asap, and its a 2 stroke so dont worry about the smoke....id be mixin 32:1 if i was you though...

wow that was a long sentence! yes, you gave a leak, spray with some bubbly stuff and find it, it sounds like a crank seal to me

Could be jetting rich, or could be from the 40/1 mix. The more oil you use, the more smoke you'll have.
