hey. today i did the oil block off mod, and put new 32:1 gas in there. now alot of white smoke comes out of the exhaust. why? also, there is a small oil leak from where the engine sprocket is. is there a seal that could be bad? and if so, is it easy to replace?

32:1 gas to oil. it never burned white like this before, so it makes me think i just mixed it too rich.

when its running and warmed up to running temp put your hand at the end of the muffler and rev it up a little a couple times and see if your hand feels oil and u also can look in side of the pipe when its not running and see if it looks real oily. if so than u are mixing rich. or it could also be a crank seal going out on u but if it didnt do it before then prob not white smoke is a sign of bad crank seal, also when it warms up does it go away a little bit??

and your leak from around the sprocket it just a seal kickstarter seal shifter seals always wear out and leak cheap fix. but i would also look at the case to see if your chain broke at one time and may have hit the case and cracked it. this happens time to time but more than likely just a seal.

actually just since i did the oil block off today did it start smoking white. well i cant tell if it is completely white or has a bluish tint. but still with my second question, is it easy to replace the sprocket seal? where can i get it? i have looked everywhere and cant find a "sprocket seal"

The seal behind the sprocket is called an "oil seal" not a "sprocket seal". It is a very easy fix. Once you get the sprocket off, it took me like 5 minutes to replace it. Just remember to put tape over the sprocket shaft and oil the inside and outside surfaces of the seal before you try to install it. The tape is to keep the shaft from tearing up your seal.

update: the white/bluish smoke goes away after the engine warms up. on full open throttle, it doesnt smoke much, but in the high rpms it smokes alot. now going to order the oil seal, and seal it up.
