i wouldn't bother, i have heard that it makes the engine vibrate a lot more, imo that isnt gunna be comfortable, and more importantly can shake nuts and bolts loose. It is there for a reason, or they wouldn't have put it there
You can remove it and yes it gives you more power and revs... its more like a dirt bike..
But unless your mxing and you have a fully built frame don't do it, the frame will distort and crack around the mounts. The vibs themselves aren't that bad, you only feel the at idle and 1/4 throttle.
I would keep it on. Running without it is hard on the crank bearings.it's not worth doing.the only thing it's realy going to do is make your girlfriend want to ride it more.
