I am getting the bike back next week and have been told she is very quick. Need to get some info about wheels. The racing we are doing is hard sand, dirt and quarry ( not small stones). No desert or anything like that. I need some ideas about wheels and tyres.

What size's ? bigger on the front or what?

Mod's on the bike so far. new piston/ port and polish/ machined carb/ lightened flywheel/ 240 jet and tuned stock exhaust. Was told she is very quick.

i would dump the stock exhaust and get something better

tires.....razr, holeshots, there are alot of diff tires out there

How big are the stones you're ridin' through? With large stones, you can't go wrong with the steel stockers. But IMO the Hiper CF's are the way to go. I've used just about every other type of wheel out there and now my shed looks like a rim boneyard. Worst case you would have to get new rings for the hipers if they get realy messed up. Plus you can change your tire with just a ratchet and a 12 point 10mm socket right on the trail.

Don't know how to tune the stock exhaust but this is whats recommended. The guy that has done the work ran his son's blaster with this setup two years ago and won 15 out of 17 races.

Lightened flywheel
bored out carb
240 jet
new Wisco piston
port and polish
anything that's not needed taken off the bike
modified and tuned stock exhaust.

The tracks are mainly dirt track but two venue's have a lot of large stone's under earth which during the day become visibile because of all the driving. Other then that it's just normal ground. I have at the moment standard wheels with Klaws on but someone told me there to heavy and lighter one's would be better and also size make's a difference. The only person that ever menstioned that before was the wife but maybe it does. Ant info please.

How do you tune a stock exhaust????????????????????????????????????

You dont. Unless he has removed the baffle, cut the head pipe open and took out those plates and screens and welded it back up and called it "tuning" Ditch the exhaust. NO stock "tuned" exhaust is better than an aftermarket pipe.

Forget about the exhaust. Thats not the question.

Blasterboy what wheels and tyre's do you have on your bike. What size?
