alright, i dont want to buy a long travel kit for my blaster, i just want to get a set of 5in wheel spacers for the front and rear. can you guys give me some pros and cons to this? btw they would be the cheap kind....the ones you just screw on...
well the pros are it will give you a wider ride makeing it more stable, and it looks better. the cons would be mabey you wont fit through a spot you used to be able to and if you jump it and break those little studs its gonna hurt.... but i will add i have heard the stud kind hold up pretty well.
I was lookin a some durablue 2' spacers on ebay they wanted 120 Bux for Front and 120 Bux for rears I couldn't believe how much they were. 5 Inch would be pretty wide..

Dosent Look a huge as I thought it would but there is a major difference between that in stock. So if there 5Inch spacers that means it actually adds 10 Inches to the wheel base right?

I wouldn't run spacers that big on the front. It's very hard on wheel bearings and fouls your steering geometry. I run a Banshee axle (~3.5") and 2" per side screw-on spacers. It works good so far, but would not hold up to big mx style jumps etc. My front is +3 ASR arms some +2 offset wheels. Works good.
Lol yea I thought something was wrong with that haha Im thinkin thats like almost a foot ! lol I put 2 inch wheel spacers on my RC Truck and Stripped the bearings and twisted the dog bones the first day Im nervous what damage they could cause to the blasty
i have 5'' spacer on front and back of mine and i have had no problems at all.i have jump some stuff and maybe got 4ft of air and havent had a problem yet.i talked to the guy i got them from on ebay and he told me that he has had someone break there ball joint instead of the spacers breaking like everyone thinks they would
