Wheel Spacers???

I'm with cfed I got the Dj customs on mine and you can just look at the difference between those your looking at and the others and make your own decision! But me personally I'd go with the round type spacer.

^^^The fail rate is probably a lot less with that style. People actually have luck with the stud style holding up but not what I would use.

yea but for 15 bux you cant go wrong

sure you can when they come loose or snap in half when your riding and you hub huts the ground and you eat sht face first over the handle bars.. get the round style ones. go to your local hardware store and get your self some grade 8 hardware ( normally grade 8 stuff is gold in color) torque then down and not worry about it

ya but i mean for the price i know they have a bad rep.
theres quite a difference between 15 and 85 for some people.
so far mine have held up great but i only have the +3's not the 5's

ive never heard of anyone ever snapping one of those studs, i run em ,and i know a ton of people that run em as well...
the hub style im sure are stronger but cost allot more cash...
the only advice i can give is be careful how wide you make the front , cause the wider ya go, the more stress you have on on your ball joints. i went a total of 3 inches on front(1 1/2 studs) and 5 inches in the back(2 1/2 studs) along with douglas 190 offsets and havent had any problems. I like the feel

i had those durablue spacers front and rear. ran them 2 years and nrver had a problem. 15 bucks u cant go wrong???? ya right, till u are in the er because a wheel came off on landing a jump.....

lol...let me ask you blaster biotch...
have you ever heard of anyones wheel comming off due to using lug spacers? from any of the half a million riders who currently use these type of spacers ?
just wondering !
I respect your opinion but i dont agree.

Just because they haven't failed yet doesn't mean they won't! Those definitely don't look very safe. With a spacer style, you not only have the clamping force from the lugs, but you've got a decent amount of surface over which to spread the load. With those, the load is spread over a very small area.......you figure it out.

Don't let the "I think" or "I've heard" or "Those don't look safe" ignorants pull you down.
I've run those in 3" and 5" on 4 out of 5 of my machines (the other is a drag bike), even the race ones, and have never had 1 single problem. Yes they are heavy, but for those on a budget, you can't go wrong. I'm 200 pounds and race hard, no failures. Sure
a-arms would be nice, but not everyone can afford a set. One thing to watch out for, BUMPSTEER. It's bad with spacers, that you need to know.
TORKER.
