i have the $285 dollar one and it is nickel plated and does not look nearly as nice as the $375 dollar pipe. when i called on mine they told me that they just nickel-chrome plate a bare pipe from shearer. the reason that i called them is that it looks sloppy and has a couple of scuffs- but it is cheaper. the more expensive pipe is being sold by shearer and is a high quality chrome pipe. what matters is that they are both the same pipe and you need to decide if you want the show chrome or not.
