what year blasters have xx size carbs?

Anyone have a chart on what year blasters have what size carbs? Which ones are interchangeable? For example can I throw a stock 98 carb onto a 2002?

they're all 26mm and they should all interchange

Yup they are all the same and interchangable....

But it is kind of small for the Blaster. If you are looking for a carb you should look into a 28mm

yuppp all 26mm, 28-30 is good 32-36mm for worked bikes, i have a brand new 30mm i think i might sell and go bigger

so lets say you have a hopped up engine with a small carb, i'd imagine you can jet it to give enough fuel but you'd be restricting the max airflow? What happend if you have too big of a carb on a stock engine?

it won't run very well down low. having too large of a carburetor will kill low speed air velocity which is what builds torque. that being said i had a 36mm mikuni on my stock motor that just has an FMF pipe and through the midrange it ripped like crazy...but it was pretty lazy on the bottom end

how do you get them to fit into the standard boot which is part of the reed cage thingymabob?

took a dremel with a sanding drum on it and enlarged the opening on the boot

with my mods listed below what size carb would be a good size so i can get max power. or is it barley even noticable.

28mm OKO or keihin pwk would make a good choice for you since it looks like you basically just have a pipe.......

most guys say that the throttle response is much better. and should give you more power up top. hopefully someone who's done a definite before/after on it and they can chime in
