what will happen if i cut the header?

i ordered an FMF Powercore 2 SST silencer and they sent me the regular Powercore 2.... it doesnt fit but if u cut part of the stinger section it might... just wondering what will happen

Don't be too eager to get it on, send it back and tell them you paid for the Powercore2 SST. If you cut it and it makes you lose some power, and your not satisfied, You can't send it back if you've f*cked with it.

yeah.... i did that, if i cut the header it woulda just turned it from an SST to a fatty... the stinger is what makes the SST better

exactly. no reason to possibly affect the performance of your head pipe when a couple phone calls will get you the correct part
