What to do.....

I still had my stock hood laying around so today I decided to cut it like mr305‘s... It came out horrible. One side is longer, one side is shorter and the tool I used gummed up the sides. I know I'm pretty much f'ed, but are there some suggestions out there to at least make it tolerable?

first you need a better camera. second, next time tape it up to make sure its how you want it. third you can use a file to smooth the edges back down.

Ok I went ahead and cut it down some more I still need to even it up. But its a little better.. I guess

Oh well I guess everyone screws up once in a while. I just wish it wasn't this time. The funny thing is that I did trace it out before I cut it.

use a block and some paper ..

Use the back side of a razor and it should help with the melted edges.
