what spark plug is recomended

Hello, What Spark plug should be used in a blaster? we purchased one and it is running a br 8es. Is that correct?

NGK B8ES is what the manual calls for. The BR8ES has a resistor in the spark plug to suppress ignition noise generated during sparking. Either one will work.

Plain and simple old B8ES, unless you are troubled by ignition noise in your earphones!

Looks like you need a Blaster manual. Click on this link Do It Yourself [Archive] - Yamaha Blaster Forum then go to #12 and follow download directions.

NGK's are the only ones you should use and should only need to change it out for a new one/check it every 6mo. or so.

Sorry but I have to disagree with you, any brand is ok to use as long it is a substitute, and of the correct heat range.

Well that's completely understandable/logical but why would you use say an american champion or autolite plug in a japaneese bike? Thats all I'm gonna say about the subject(shrug)

Just use NGK B8ES. Don't put a champion in.....champion plugs blow.

soon as i foul out all of the extra plugs i have im gonna but a e3 plug
