what size jet to start with

I know this is another jetting question but im not exactly sure where to start.

on my previous setup I had just a pro circuit pipe with a 250 main jet.

when im done with this build I will have the procircuit pipe, KOR head mod, DIY port and polish (polished exhaust, transfers cleaned up, and a little bit of intake porting, basically cleaned up the boogers and shaped the intake bridge and raised the intake 1mm and lowered it 1mm(roughly)) and I am going to take off the airbox lid and put vforce 4s in. when i cleaned my carb I went up to a 280 and that is what i thought would be a good starting point but after some more research I am thinking I may need to go a little bit higher.

like i said i just need a good starting point and I can handle it from there as far as fine tuning.

I would try a #300 and plug chop from there.

oh and I am also still using the stock carb as well. I forgot to mention that in the original post.

Unless otherwise stated all jetting is based on the assumption that a stock carby is being used.

Depending on temps might even consider 310/320 to start. jmo

Then the size you use now would probably end up being your winter plug, if i were you, i would wait until its summer temps to use plugs

well another thing is that i moved last summer and didnt get to ride much cause my blaster was still back at my parents house. and where i moved to is a lower elevation so i am gonna put a good bit of time into getting her tuned perfect. I know that ill have to change it for summer but I ride all year round so ill just write down what settings i have it at for winter and re do it for summer.
