i just bought a 1998 yamaha blaster with a stock exhaust on it i was going to buy a fmf power core 2 is there any other suggestions on what i should get.

I kinda just want to get the exhaust because most of the things on this quad are stock and i want to get alot of aftermarket stuff for it.

dont get just the silencer it isnt worth it. get the expansion chamber too. they can be had cheap as a combo on ebay

Try to pick up a used FMF head pipe and silencer. Take your airbox lid off and rejet accordingly for the best boost in power without having to dip into the kids college fund.

i think you should strt with suspension upgrades. you will be whoopin on piped, stock suspended blasters almost everywhere except in drag races. tight woods riding and bumpy riding you will have a much less tiring much more enjoyable, faster ride. a pipe is good, but its no use if you cant handle the terrain.
