My reeds on my blaster are broken, and its a fully stock blaster. Now I have a budget of $150-200 to spend, and I've been thinking between 3 things to purchase. A new exhaust, a 33mm carb, or vForce 3 Reeds. I was thinking the reeds, but I can always buy boysen until Christmas rolls along. What do you guys think I should get for my budget, and could you recommend what to get?

an exhaust is the biggest bang for your proverbial buck, but it does no good if your reeds are broken

Get an exhaust, right now there's a used toomey on ebay for $150ish. Header and silencer if that interests you.

id find a cheap exhaust and pick up some boysen. i have a set of stocks with the reed cage that are good if ur interrested shoot me a pm with an offer. and dont get a 33mm carb for a completly stock blasty i dont see the point.

Well id like to get a exhaust (jets included) with some decent bang for its buck. Because I'm going to mostly hillclimb with my blaster, and just generally show off.

if you're mainly just hillclimbing, get some new reeds, and a longer swinger and start working the suspension

First of all, I have a Toomey Pipe, Boyesen Reeds, Uni Filter, 26mm carb 340 main, and I DONT need a 33mm carb because i dont have a ported engine, if you had a ported engine, you would need a bigger carb depending on how much port work you get!

dude with your attitude you need porting, you want power? well you are not going to get it by tossing a few cheap bolt ons at your bike. some a/m reeds are a nice start but you are not going to gain much, these engines need to be a complete package that all performs together in order to get nice power. they can still be a freekin blast in semi stock form but you are not going to run around "shutting peoples mouths" unless you do some major mods that all work together. unless you are made of money these things take time, its taken me 2yrs to get mine where it is now. if you could manage to find a a/m pipe (except a DG) and some boyesen dual stage reeds for your budget you will notice a power gain but its not going to be huge like you want. if you are after this power just get some reeds to get you back riding and save up untill you can get some porting, usually a few hundred bucks after shipping.

^^^ noober is right, I have $1500 in mine right now with how it's sitting and all I've bought for my motor is a +3 crank and new clutch

just get the boyeson reeds, have your cage ported, find a good used pipe and dial it in.
and for $200 you wont be shutting too many people up.
