i know some people have been saying banshee axle fits blaster and people have asked if it does fit. well i am going to answer that and tell what it actually takes. a week ago i bought a banshee axle and carrier for 50 bucks. i am kicking myself cause i didnt buy the hubs for an extra 10 bucks. but anyways after about 4 hours of work and 2 trips to the hardware store, i finally got it back together. a banshee axle will fit the blaster with no problems. you can also use all the blaster hardware, hubs, brakes and sprocket. allthough i used all that from the banshee cause it was the same. and it fit better. but the only hitch was the axle sat too far to the left about 1 inch. i used a huge lock washer to space it, but its better to hone out one of the lock nuts. so to answer peoples question. yes the banshee axle does fit. you just need to put spacers on the axle on the right side to move the axle to the right an inch. as soon as i clean it up, i will post pictures. and it is 2 inches wider on each side. hope this helps anyone

yes i did and i had to put a washer in there cause the brake hub would have sat crooked in there and not let me put both nuts on the left side. but i am going to do a hydro swap some day so i think i am just going to take my rear brakes off for now.

sounds like your rocking a raptor axle man, i had the same problem when i tried to run one. I have a shee axle now and all i needed was the banshee brake hub to make it fit

well i saw the bike it supposodly came off of and it was a 510 stroker drag banshee. but i will take my spacer off and try to tighten everything up and see if it is still off. wheni first did the swap, i put the blaster brake hub on and it was off. i put a spacer and put the shee brake hub in and didnt tighten everything up yet. i just tightened my chain and put my wheels back on. but i will use some better tools in about 30 minutes and i will let you know. but i dont wanna make it any wider in the back i just want some better tires.

i just got back from tightening my axle up. it sat 1/4 inch to the left. (i measured from the center of the carrier to the end of the axle) so i put a 1/4 inch spacer in there, tightened everything up, and my brake wont go on. it sits on top of the mount on the carrier. so i went to ace and got some longer bolts and some 1/4 inch spacers to space the brake hub to make it fit

well those of you who have a banshee axle with no spacer, measure the axle from the center of your carrier to the end of the axle on both sides and tell me if its even or if its off by 1/4 inch or so. also look at a stock banshee carrier compared to a blaster carrier. the banshee carrier is longer on the right side than a blaster one is. i will post pictures in about 20 minutes

I have been running shee axles for years now.All you need is the axle and a shee brake hub unless your blaster is from 03-06 then you only need the axle. There should be no shimming involved. It wil sit perfectly square once mounted. It is also not quite 4 inches wider,it's more like 3 3/4 inches or about 1 5/8 inches per side wider. Now some people (and I don't reccomend this method) use the banshee carrier and shim it up with washers, etc. to make it fit. That is a big no no in my book and not a good idea at all.Lets see those pics.

Doesn't the swingarm sit that far off from the center of the frame anyways? if I remember right, your swingarm and everything is offset a little to the left, so it was probably right without the spacers

well if so it doesnt matter now cause i put spacers and locktited the hell out of the bolts so its not coming back off unless it bends or breaks.

You are 100% correct bro.His axle was sitting where it should now it is off center when he put the shims in.To anyone reading this all you need is a shee axle and brake hub for the 88-02 years and just a shee axle for the 03-06 years.

yeah bro if you can get them out of there, i would remove them. when i installed my g force, i thought it was out of alignment when i measured how you did it, but then i measured from the end of the axle to the foot peg mount. i know it wasnt exactly a square measurement, but it is better than measuring from the center of the carrier
