i checked my compression and its at 125 psi. is that good? it will start with one kick but its real slow. so slow i cant put it in 2nd --like 5 mph. can some one help.....

i think is a stock eng. the book said 140 - 150 psi is the normal compression and i have 125psi. it rev's up good but when i put it in 1st ihave to give it alot of gas. then it bogs down so much i cant go fast enough to put it in 2nd.
it's like theres no power after i put it in 1st and its not sliping. can it be my reed, or jeting is bad????.

IT could be great with some feedback from the members of the forum.

Im in the middle of a rebuild.. and really wanna compare what i get and what others have.. stocl, medium tuned.. heavy tuned.. etc.. so I can compare.. so guys lets hear it.. Whats your compression / specs...

thanks

haha lol! (I know its not funny!) But no thats definitly not good..

120-130 stock... something has major wear in your machine.. properly rings / piston.. maybe it need new bore.. does it even start with 60 psi?

So far we can actually conclude that a compression of 150-180 almost.. is very good .. lots of power to come at you!

And anything under 120 is not good .. parts are wearing out..
