i am having troubles with my quad and people are telling me to check to c if the tors is unhooked...can someone please tell me what the tors is?

Yes this is covered alot but no reason to be a dick about it.
tors is the Throttle Over Ride System, bascially if your bike get stuck wide open when you return the thumb throttle to idle it kills the motor so you don't go for a scary ride. Bad thing is this sensor has a tendency to mess up and can do bad things when you want you bike to run. you can unhook it and twist the 2 wires at the carb together to bypass it and that should solve it. They also make a kit that will do away with the bit on the top of the carb but that is up to you.
