Been there done that. 99mph in just 1st gear. Even just shifting into 3rd with the rpm's up to much will have it wanting to take flight.

I've had evertything I've ever owned over 100, unless it was governed at 100. Never have and never will ride a crotch rocket, I'm just too smart (or dumb) for that. Had my Taurus sho up to 125 in 4th (outta 5), never could get that thing to run right, but felt like an airplane at that speed. Used to have a Suzuki sidekick 4 door that speedo went to 85 and on a straight downhill run I had it running 0 a few times. Rolled it over running 65 on a curvy dirt road when a dump truck came around the curve. I never rode with anybody that could (or would) drive as fast as me in these mountains

143mph (I was staring at the speedo just before it went pitch black from the hood coming threw the windshield and the top of the sunroof popped inside like a pringles can from the rest of the hood whipping around and smacking it) than totaled the car on 476 on way to quaker town flea market trying to be cool with my ex, bloody and mangled later.... wasn't too cool
and unfortunately 120 giver or take everyday to and from work, speaking of which I have a court date coming up next week for getting a 126mph in a 35mph
just got my license back on Friday and now its going to be gone again...
speed is an addiction, a habbit done with out me realizing it, is it cool? no its very unsafe, at any moment someone can pull out or switch lanes. you can control your car, but you cant control what other ppl do and THATS the danger. if they had a rehab for speed, id seriously consider, I try to use my cruise control as much as possible but its just too physically hard for me to make myself do it.

My cure was an old 83 f-150 and 3 kids. I don't know what tranny and rear end are in it, but its a slow 3 speed and 0-60 in about 30 seconds lol. Although I did have it drifting on pavement when my house burnt down, and that was with 32x11.50 sidewinders. Usually when I'm not driving that the kids are with me
yea, iv been taking my daughter and the dog more often than not, that's pretty sobering to do the speed limit. well not a fan of the puppy but... lol jk
I had my, baught new, 95 s-10 bouncing off the Rev limiter at 95.5 mph while racing my buddies 86 Chevy nova front wheel drive that burned oil like crazy. Sad cause I'm hitting the Rev limiter and he was passing me, albeit slowly...lol

i did around 100 in my ranger for like 2 miles on the highway racing a friend..... that ended when my fuel pump quit and he ranger shut off, the wires melted going into the pump..... wasnt a great day for me and my friend, he blew his 2005 suzuki 450 about 3 hours later

Hmm. Guess I'm just another speed junky. I think I have had every vehicle I have owned at absolute max speed. Fastest in a car was probably my buddies twin turbo 06 gto, ~160mph. 2 wheels my buddies
08gxsr 600 ~165mph. Although I just bought a 2002 r1 and will get tires within the week. I'll update as to how fast it goes

Car: 160 in a supra, as a passenger.
Motorcycle: I "test drove" a 929i back in 2001, No intentions on buying it.. I got scared at 120mph, and took it back to the dealer.

brothers ms3 still havent topped it but had it doin 140 in 4th(6 speed)
just had my sled doing 85 ditch bangin.
my dads still got his speeding ticket framed somewhere in the house. was caught 132 in a 30 and he was slowing down.... haha.
had a gixxer1000 up to 140 before i backed off because out of road and didnt want to hit gravel.
bieks and quads, no clue i dont have a speedo.
but i can run about 70mph so i dont waste gas....haha
