what is over rev

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring too, but over rev is usually referred to as the engine spinning faster than what is recomended. Like say the limit is 10,000rpm and you go to 11,000.

I believe in the context of two strokes, over-rev is the ability to hold a gear and rev out higher, even if the engine is past the meat of the powerband. Like you're on a straight, and even though you should grab a gear, you don't because you need to slow/brake for an upcoming corner. Your motor will pull higher revs and you can keep accelerating, though not at the rate you would in the next gear. It depends on pipe, porting, bore/stroke, jetting etc. Many factors.
I could be completely off base though :-[:-[

that sounds liek a perfect explination of it to me. i noticed a big gain in "over rev" with my power pros over the fmf i had. as far as the bills pipe goes, i dunno dude you tell us, you're the one with the pipe. lol :D

i just took it out on the street and got it topped out and like you said it still kept pulling like crazy prob faster that i should have though lol
