What is this thing?

Saw this for sale on the roadside, picked it up not running for $30.

Fitted a plug lead, and the little beastie just flies.

I think it is around 50cc.

I dare you to ride it in the rough, it is like a bull, tries to get you off at any speed, it threw me.I:II:II:I

If you are small, staying on would be a breeze, but raise the centre of gravity with a larger body and it is a biotch to stay upright.

mini bike, I'd try to find a generator motor like 198cc and up and see if it will take off like a rocket. that looks like a riot though

I had mine some time ago but it does look like they swapped in a different motor. I could be wrong. It may be the missing parts that makes it look different to me. I know mine was a 50cc 2 stroke.

50cc? 2 stroke, centrifugal clutch.

Would not run too well until I mixed up a 16:1 brew.

The 16:1 was the only way I could get the fuel to air mix correct, I leaned it out with the extra oil, and the little beggar screams!

That beast is so quick it turned the flame job around on the tank, or is that how you Aussies do it down under?

We are pretty hot down here, and you will note from the direction of the flame, it was in reverse at the time. That's just from my boy pushing it backwards to put the chain on.

By the way it has no engine brake, the rear sprocket freewheels, very disturbing, cos when you throttle off , it keeps on going.

Found an old pipe off a water cooled KTM 50 in the shed and was excited cos I just knew I could get more out of it.

All hopes were dashed, too much mods to be made to make it fit, gonna have to waste some time making one, but there again if it goes any faster I wont be able to handle it.
