What gearing for 240

Just wondering what everybody is running on there 240 for trail ridding B-)

14 tooth front 40 rear with 18in rear tires. topped out is decent i would say 65-??70 maybe?? dont know. second through 6th rip. if u watch the front end it still lifts when punching in sixth. but then again it depends on your mods...pipe carb, port etc...ahhhh i see them in ur sig. ya u should be happy with this setup. i want to move up to some 20 inch rear for a larger footprint but i dunno..... a 14 should be fine in the trails.3rd gear is long and strong!!

ok ...soooo... have u riddin it with ur new engine yet? i think that combo should be fine. maybe want to move down to 18 unless u ride big ruts. where we ride there is alot of open land and wot 6th gear trails.

No i havent gotten it all together yet.I dont think i want to run 18s because i do ride on some ruff trails sometimes.But i see other people run 14-39 and 14-38.I would just like to here how other gearings run before i buy.Most of the time i dont run wot but the 3rd gear sounds good.

well your not going to know till yo u get it running and dialed in and see wha t it can do and what kind of gearing it favors for your riding

well i went with 14/38 with my new setup. and ill tell you right now, just pulling up from the end of the driveway, its got even more balls down low with the gearing for top end, then before i did all this sh*t with the gearing for lower end.

I'm running 14/38 w/ 18's and I can still pull the front wheels off the ground ( about 1') in 5th gear.
