Bring that jap truck to busco next yr and i will teach ya some lessons on what a modded dodge will do:D

I didn't say modded. if mine was modded (which it never will be bc it's a work truck) you wouldn't want any with that big pig. It isn't even a race with the stock hemi's they are fallen back bottom, middle, and top. the six speed stick doesn't hurt. and if any of the mid sized american trucks had half the power of mine with the same cost i wouldn't drive a japo truck. the only thing close in power was the rt dakota and they wanted 30 g's.Psycho! and i just didn't like the 4.6 explorer truck. and it will be at busco, you might win but you will be like damn why is he so close!

84 Silverado short box with a 383 Stroker. When its running anyway. It is down right now because the trans went out and took the thrust out of the crank. Should be up and running again this weekend. Gets about 13MPG pulling 3 ATV's on a 6 x 12 converted boat trailer.

Wait, wasnt the 383 in the dodge charger too?

383 Chevy is a 350 block with a 400 stroke crank in it. Mine is a stock 400 crank ground on the mains to fit the 350, 400 rods, and flat top 350 pistons. I actually got some 383 4 Barrel emblems off one of my boss's chargers and put on the hood and tailgate. They are pretty popular engines right now and we build more of them than 350's and for sure more than 400's.

Working on a 427 with a turbo 400 but that is a later project when I get time and all the brackets to put it in.
