no i didnt use fusion i have to redo the paint job anyways when i got sand paper for it i went to get 600 grit but i accidently grabbed 60 grit and when i got home i said screw it and used the 60 grit anyways and so now i have to redo the sanding cause there are scratches everywere on the plastic.

how do you suggest i paint my shocks???

i know i gatta get rid of that darn seat..... purple ugg haha

well when i painted my shocks i just said screw it and paited the whole thing. they were sort of rusted when i got them. i just cleaned them up really well, and hung them up and painted them. the paint wears off the piston in the first 5 min of riding anyways.

the Krylon Fusion works really well. i just did my wifes tank cover, and front nose peice red. i also covered here seat with new red vinyl. it cost me $10.00 at a local upholstery shop. much cheaper then any bought premade seatcover. it looks really good. it was some work streching the vinyl over the seat to make it tight and wrinkle free. i used a hair dryer to heat it up. that helps strech it out.

here is a picture.

spary paint and plastics are a no-no unless it has a flex agent it in that will let it bend when the plastics do. Fusion has that agent already inside and makes it stick longer.

if u re paint the springs when that stuff wears off (normal paint prob wont last long) truck bedliner in a spray can works pretty good

"o...i use that paint on lots of stuff lol...i gotta thread about it if anyone Wants to see what else i used it on"

I would be interested in what you used it on :). I am going to use it (Herc Paint on Bed liner) on my floor in my 90 Jeep Cherokee XJ :).

I have been thinking of using the fusion paint (gloss black) on my blue plastics on the blaster i am rebuilding. From what it sounds like it is the best paint to use? I am thinking of doing the all black and white.

My wife would like a purple color on her bike, but i dont think they make that color? I know to buy the plastics all they have is pink that I have seen.

I know the fusion paint is supposto bond molecularly (spelling? :)) to the plastic, does it flex well with it and work well on ATV plastic or is it just the best type of paint at the moment to use?

Wow that seat looks GREAT ! Nice job with the shaping/stretching !

I can confirm that he uses it on just about EVERYTHING ! ! He sometimes wanders around the house looking for things to paint with the truck bed liner ! ! Just kidding. But it does seem to hold up fairly well, and it looks really good too on his black quad. But at $7.99 a can I hope he runs out of things to paint pretty soon. :-D

We have 2 Blasters in our house, and they are both using the Spray on bedliner for several wear spots... Probbaly tearing them both down this winter to touch up some other spots before next race season !

Maybe you 2 can swap seats ! !
