my blaster is runing fine but after i did the top end rebuild

i was "wearing it in" and my carb was messed up and made my blaster run at full rpm's even after i hit the kill switch, so i had to put it in like 4th gear and dump the cluch to kill the engine

it was full rpm's for like 30 seconds total "happend twice"

do u guys think i should put new rings in it or just leave it

also would i have to get it honed or something to that extent (i havent
looked at he cylinder walls yet so in dont know if they are good yet)

eh idk mine did it too... how far into it the break in were you? if ya have your t.o.r.s. remove it and it wont happen again

that could be an air leak, after i did mine, I forgot to tighten my base nuts all the way, and 2 came off, and I had a serious air leak surprised i didnt blow the piston... check and make sure everything is tight.

MY cousins did that for a little, after breaking it in a little it calmed down, but did you check for air leaks?

That might be the culprit!!

Anyways, if it's running good and has good power, I wouldn't worry about it. If you really feel you need to do new rings (you just rebuilt the top end, I take it you bored it over a tiny bit?? Or did you just throw in a new piston and rings?) you can just take the cylinder off, hone it, or have it honed (there are a few different types of tools to do this but basically they go into a drill and they just scratch the surface of the cylinder up so that the rings seat properly). Again, if it runs fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Just be happy you didn't blow up your motor on the breaking run after a rebuild!! (that really sux)
