What CDI do I need???

I have what I believe to be a 04 Blaster Engine (5 wires coming from stator)...It was completely missing it's CDI when i bought it.

Problem is, before i knew what year the engine itself is, i bought a CDI for what the frame is...a 98...the 91-02 CDIs apparently have a 3 pin connector...So i look for an 04...03-06 i believe has wires coming from it and no harness.

The wire harness on my machine is an 8-pin.

ANY insight would be appreciated

yes you need a CDI from an 03 +

older bikes used 2 different boxes for the TORS and CDI the newer bikes have both boxes in one.

What about my situation with the pins?...are there 2 different CDIs for this atv?...My harness has an 8-pin plug and the cdis i have seen all had wires coming out of them.
