Ok so turns out its not the top end that is locking up. The bottom end is what is locking up.

what can be causing this? i can not turn it with my hand. The top end is off the crank rod bearing looks ok. I put new wiseco Crank bearings in it and new seals. I am just baffled... Any Ideas?

bearings blown? flywheel magnet let go? something could of jammed between the crank and balancer gears. your not gonna find the true answer to your problem untill you look into it atleast alittle bit if you just replaced the bearings did you rotate the crank as you were installing into the new beearings??

Not sure what you mean by rotate the crank as installing. I installed the new bearings and the next day pulled the crank in to place.

after you pull the crank to the one side case and your ready to assemble the two cases togeather the whole time your tighting them togeather you should be rotationg the crank to make sure its not locking up on you. if you did this you would notice to stop tightining and figure whats happening

Had this happen to me before on a Wiseco crank . My problem was that the bottom of the rod ( Rod Bearing area ) Was hitting the cases . It may be happening to you. All i did was grind some of the cases down a bit . Rod end was hitting the cases by the Top were the jug sits..

Took the clutch cover off and found the problem. the nut that goes to that side of the crank came loos and was hitting the clutch cover making the crank not want to spin.
