That's the cable I got for my PJ and it worked just fine. It should work for all Keihin's. I am getting my 35 pwk a/s any day now so I'll hook it up to be sure for you. You only need the caps and idle screw if you're using it on a stock carb. Your 35 pwk does not have TORS on it.
IMHO, if your motor is not ported well or big bore then a 35mm pwk will be too big for it and may bog on the bottom.
i have fmf gold series header, fmf powercore ii silencer, k&n air filter, no airbox lid... currently running a 290 main in my stock carb.
Are you planning on getting more motor work done? Porting, Stroker, BBK?

i'm planning on getting an aggressive trail port from KOR sometime in the future but probably won't do a stroker and definitely no BBK because of how pistons are nowadays.
I dont think your engine is ready for that carb. I was running a 36mm PWK non AS carb and it was a biotch to jet for. You have to jet WAY down on that thing. Its just too much carb for the engine to handle if you arent ported or stroked, etc. Also you need a top end pipe like a Toomey too. The FMF is what I have.
Your results may be different than me, and Id like to see you get it working right, but Im just sharing my experience with it. I traded my 36 for a 28 and it was much easier to get it jetted and running well with the 28. One more thing is my quad got CRAP for fuel mileage. I couldnt go on big boy rides cause Id run out of fuel. No matter what I did I just couldnt get that thing jetted properly.
