Im going to take to oil injection kit off of my blaster, engine is stock except for an fmf fatty and powercore 2 silencer. Ive heard people say that maxima 2 stroke oil seperates from the gas when sitting...is this true? Ill probably be using Amsoil, mixing 32:1, but sometimes my bike sits for almost a month without being ridden. I always use sta-bil in the gas, and shut the flow valve and run it all from the carburetor so it doesnt gum up....but am i going to have to worry about the oil separating from the gas now that im going to be premixing?

One of the Maxima's separates in cold weather, from what I've heard. Never used it. If you run the carb out when you park it all you should have to do is roll it back and forth a few times before opening the petcock to mix the fuel up and you should be good to go.

use Klotz R-50 never had a problem with it seperating. alot of companys iv talked to recomend it. and some say it increses power just alittle.

most any synthetic seperates amsoil is probably the worst it cant even be used with alky or in cold temps .another reaso nwhy i always run klotz supertechnaplate (not the same as klotz R50!)

I use maxima 927 and I dont really have problems with it seperating but, I shake my bike from side to side before I ride if it has been sitting for a while.

Also, what I do if I know I am not going to be riding for a while is drain all the gas out of my tank into a can so then I can mix it again before I put it back in the bike. If it gets too old (a month or 2) I drain all the gas put it in my dodge and get fresh 91 for the bike!

lol.. i do the same.. shake the bike.. of normally it mixes up when i upload ift off the trailer... i dont have gas sitting around long enough to go bad or un mix... i kill 4 gallons a week normally

amsoil is a dam good motor oil even for cars seen lots of motors run the amsoil the protection is really good specialy for no carbon deposits on the piston that iv seen.It doesnt separate or anything still nice blue cloud after sitin for 2 weeks that amsoil is good stuff i trust it.

i run the maxima 927 as well, and have yet to have a problem. i get on my bike and shake it form side to side t mix it up befor ei start it. if it sits to long, about 2 months, then i drain it all and put it in my jeep and start over.
